InvoiceRunner terms of use

These terms apply to the InvoiceRunner app, provided by Fortem Equity Holdings (Pty) Ltd t/a JobRunner (registration number 2016/136337/07; registered office: Highveld, Centurion, Gauteng; business address: Durbanville, Cape Town) ("we", "us"). By signing in you agree to them.

1. The service

InvoiceRunner helps you create quotations, invoices, receipts and credit notes on your Android phone. It is free and has no ads. We may change or stop features, and we will give notice in the app where we reasonably can.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account. Keep your phone and Google account secure. You are responsible for what is done with your account.

3. Your documents and your responsibility

• You decide what goes on your documents and you are responsible for their accuracy.
• InvoiceRunner is built to help with South African VAT requirements, but it is not tax, legal or accounting advice. You remain responsible for your VAT registration, for meeting SARS requirements, and for keeping records for as long as the law requires.
• Your documents are stored on your phone. Back them up (Settings → Export all data). We cannot recover documents that were only on a lost or reset phone.
• InvoiceRunner is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by SARS.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use InvoiceRunner to create false or fraudulent documents, to break any law, or to interfere with the service.

5. Privacy

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design and the JobRunner and InvoiceRunner names belong to us or our licensors. Your documents belong to you. The app includes open-source software under its own licences (Settings → Open-source licences).

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 that cannot be limited.

9. Ending

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
